God is a miracle working God!!!

I asked the lord what to share with you this month for encouragement and he told me to do a part 2 about prayer having the power to change things. One thing I have truly learned is that God is a miracle-working God. He will show up in ways you could never imagine when we truly trust him. Some of you all know that last year I had an interesting accident that almost cost me my life.

“But that’s when I experienced God in ways I could never imagine in my own mind.”

I was on vacation in Pensacola, FL and I was having the best time of my life. At the time I was truly in a back-sliding state and God wasn’t pleased with me in any way. Around this time last year, I ended up struggling to stay alive in my hotel room. I had never been so afraid in my whole life. Fear gripped me as I struggled to get my thoughts together while turning on worship music. The song that was playing in my hotel room was by Keonte Gavins I shall live. I couldn’t understand how and why I ended up in such a chaotic situation. The only thing I could do was pray and repent for the damage I had caused during that time in my life. But it seemed like the lord wasn’t hearing me at all. But I didn’t give up my body was suffering from the effects of too much caffeine and legal CBD drugs. My heart pounded and it was as if I was having some sort of out-of-body experience like I was dying. While my body naturally tried to flush out all the poison I fought hard for months. My head kept spinning for months and I didn’t think I was going to make it. I kept crying out to God for help I repented then my faith was really tested.

“During this time I learned how to trust God for healing to take place in my body.”

My body was all out of order it was what the enemy wanted at that time. But still, I pushed and prayed. Then I got into the word of God and started studying and speaking out of my mouth what the scriptures said on healing. I was determined to be healed by God. I needed God to work a miracle for me, but it was going to take perseverance and faith to see it manifest in my life.

The word of God is so powerful that it is sharper than any two-edged sword. Meaning that the word of God will fight for you on your behalf. God is the word of God. The Bible says in Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. I am a bit teary-eyed writing this blog because God is very real, and he was with me the whole time. I learned how to truly hear God’s voice for myself again. God was going to see me through. I went to the doctor a couple of times, and I prayed at times I called on others to pray for me who God led me to. I just kept trusting God no matter what was happening in my body. During that time the doctors couldn’t find much wrong with me even after I had done blood tests and other tests.

“Then God told me not to go back to the doctor he was going to heal me for real, but I had to trust him to do it.”

Eventually, God did heal my body there were a couple of things that I had to do. I had to physically take better care of my body and work out. I changed what I was eating and started drinking more water. I got up every day and prayed while trusting God.

When the healing began to take place I went through different stages, and it was hard. But God still worked through my body to get me back healthy and brand new again. When I get up here to share these things with you, I’m letting you know so that you can be encouraged. God sees and knows what we need. God will take care of us as his children. I feel led to pray for anyone that is feeling sick in their body, and they are needing a miracle from God. I know that God is not a respecter of persons. So, he can do the same for you to increase your faith. Father God in the name of Jesus I pray for the person that needs healing in their bodies. It’s because of your word and who you are that we can receive healing. You desire to heal your children so we can live long healthy lives and do the will of you lord. I pray that you would give them the desire to study your word on healing and that by your stripes we are healed in your son Jesus Christ's name I pray Amen.
